Quad.io is a product engineering company. We build screenless systems with honest I/O and records that stay in your custody.

Quad.io builds products that run without a screen. Scope and architecture are defined up front. We ship only what is necessary, with inspectable edges: what goes in, what comes out, and who holds the records.

What we build

Agents can configure and operate the system. Humans review when judgment is required. Software is MIT-licensed, local by default, and stored in formats you can export.

Current products:

  • Rgit — a self-hosted git forge with SSH remotes, merge requests, and in-repo workflows. Conventional Commits and SemVer by default. No website on the host.
  • Burton Workspaces — open-source business automation: wiki, messages, and knowledge that compound from people and agents. Run local models on on-prem hardware. We provide managed services and developer time. Your data never leaves your enclave.

How we work

Three constraints shape the work:

  • Honest edges. Contracts are explicit. We do not hide the boundary of the system.
  • Screenless. Headless operation is the goal. A UI is not the product.
  • Sovereign data. Custody is the design. You should be able to leave with your records.
